Q: We are a small company. How can you possibly find problems we are not aware of?

Regardless of the size, or type of business, an objective third party assessment with experience at the business of the business can share this depth of experience to improve areas that you may never even have realized could be improved. Such assessment will highlight possible areas for improvement and will offer strategies to achieve the desired results.

Q: We can't afford professional help?

The objective of what we do is to help you improve your business – our services are not expensive and are typically paid for many times over within a year by the improvements we recommend. We work with our clients to devise programs that fit their budget - as we help them gain strength and grow we can adjust that budget and ramp up the effort and cost. Ultimately it comes down to how fast you can afford to move towards improving the company, you control the pace and desired improvements – after all it is your business and we become your trusted advisor.

Q: This is our busiest period time of the year, we don't have the time?

Q: How can you possibly show us anything we don't know?

Q: We are unionized and must account to the Unions for any major changes?

 Unions welcome any improvements that would benefit the labour force, since job security largely depends on a stable and strong company once they understand our purpose and role they always welcome our involvement.

Q: We are satisfied with the profit we are making. Why should we want more?

A:
Profit is only one aspect of a world class company - there are many components that go to make up a great company - our process ensures we assess the entire business - not merely the profitability. 

Q: Our biggest problem is finding new customers? What is the solution?


A: The solution is a focused approach to evaluating your company’s position in the market as perceived by your potential customer base. The old philosophy of selling has been replaced by one of positioning your company so that potential customers want to buy from you – it’s all about conducting a comprehensive marketing analysis of your company and its potential customer base and then implementing a strategy to capture that customer base who wants to buy from your company.

Q: We are very specialized – I doubt that you have the skills for our business?

A: Your business is as unique as any other business and obviously you have the available specialized in house skills necessary for your specific type of business. However, we come from highly diverse backgrounds ranging from professional auditors, who have audited thousands of diverse businesses, to professional consultants and entrepreneurs who have pretty much seen it all. At the end of the day, in order for a business to flourish and survive in this highly competitive market, the basic business fundamentals have to be followed.  It is the “health” and efficiency of the business which is critical and not so much the type of business. Our first step would be to establish how effectively your business has embraced business fundamentals before proposing any adjustments.

Q: Our business is running perfectly – we don’t need anyone to check up on us?

A: Even though you feel healthy and question why you bother having that annual medical check up, you still go ahead and do it – why? It is very simple – we all know that prevention is better than a cure – and very often early problem identification could save your life. The same principle applies to your business.
